FOR THE 92nd EDITION OF PITTI FILATI FAIR, VIMAR1991 PRESENTS AN EXHIBITION MADE WITH SCRAPS LEFTOVER FROM PRODUCTION AND ARCHIVAL YARNS. CURATED BY THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR, CAMILLA FASOLI.
THE EXHIBITION EVOKES THE THEME OF VIMAR1991'S SPRING/SUMMER COLLECTION, IMAGO. THE SPECTATOR IS ACCOMPANIED THROUGH AN EXPLORATION OF DIFFERENT WORLDS WHERE HE BECOMES PART OF THE VIRTUAL JOURNEY AS THE MAIN CHARACTER AND CREATOR.
Colorful clouds float on a dark anonymous background, almost as if planets, waiting to be discovered and contemplated. They are lightweight and soft but full of weaving and wefts that design internal landscapes. These clouds come to life in the viewer’s mind, becoming familiar scenarios from a collective imagination.
